A suspected thief was electrocuted yesterday in Katsina State while attempting to steal transformer parts.

The electrocuted body was found near a transformer at Makera Housing estate located along Daura Road on Thursday.

The deceased was wearing electric gloves and found with some electrician’s gadgets. He is suspected to have been electrocuted while trying to steal the transformer parts in the area around 3am.
