UPDATE: Fidelity Bank Board approves retirement of Executive Director/Chief Operating, Information Officer

A week ago, the Board of Directors of Fidelity Bank Plc announced the retirement of the Executive Director/Chief Operating and Information Officer, Mr Gbolahan Joshua, with effect from June 11, 2021.

Gbolahan, some staff agreed was instrumental to their predicaments when he held sway in Fidelity Bank since about six years ago where he wielded power to hire and fire with the introduction of dreaded INFOPOOL. Little wonder that many staff celebrated his exit from the bank about a week ago.

As at the time Nnamdi Okonkwo retired from the bank in December 2020 many unresolved litigations like never before are pending in the Industrial Court of Appeal many of which SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS (http://www.sojworldnews.com  publishedt at the time over various disputes with the staff of the bank over their retirement benefits and pensions.

Many members of staff were frustrated out of job as a result of harsh policies under his tenure.
