The Osun State House of Assembly has announced the revokation of the arrest warrant against the immediate past Commissioner for Lands, Physical Planning and Urban Development, Arc. Muyiwa Ige over the alleged land matter at Ilobu area of the State.
In a press statement by Hon. Lekan Odediran, Media Aide to Arc. Muyiwa Ige today, he said the Osun House of Assembly blamed the ugly development to controversy on communication gap between the Osun Assembly, Arc. Ige and Osun Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC).
Muyiwa is the heir of the former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the federation, late Chief Bola Ige.
Osun State House of Assembly in another announcement aired on Osun State Broadcasting Corporation on Thursday at 6pm informed that all issues had been resolved while the earlier warrant of arrest was said to have been revoked.
The state Assembly members led by the Acting Speaker, Hon. Adegboye Akintunde met with Arc. Ige where all issues were sorted and emphasis was laid on communication gap.
In his reaction, Arc. Ige also confirmed that the issues had been resolved amicably.
He however maintained that he was not aware of the earlier invitation which was said to have been announced on the OSBC radio.
While assuring that he will not relent in contributing his best for the development of the state under the able leadership of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, he stressed that he will not derail from the training and upbringing of his late parents.
He however thanked Nigerians home and abroad for their calls and concerns.
