AJIMAJASAN: Another popular Yoruba Nollywood actor, Ola Omonitan popularly known as Ajimajasan is dead. He died today at the University College Hospital at the age of 80.

Ajimajasan was a leading actor, producer of ‘Omo Arayele’ a television drama series. He was the leader of Pa Jacob, Aderupoko and Papalolo in the 1980’s.

The veteran Yoruba actor died in the early hours of Thursday, October 18, 2018, at the age of 80. He was a comedian of note who was also popularly as ‘Baba No Regret’.

The actor’s first daughter and eldest child, Ajike confirmed the news of his death to newsmen in Lagos.

Prior to his death, the script interpreter had been admitted at the University College Hospital.

He suffered from an enlarged heart, spinal cord problem and prostate cancer.

But after medical examinations, he was discovered to be suffering from an enlarged heart, spinal cord problem and prostate cancer, which he had been operated for before this time.

Unfortunately, Ajimajasan we gathered couldn’t be operated upon again due to his age and frail stature.

As a result of this, the family were therefore advised by the doctors in charge to take him home for treatment.

He was discharged from the hospital Monday morning but gave up the ghost today (Thursday).

Ajimajasan’s death came barely few days after another veteran comedian, Pa Moses Olaiya Adejumo aka Baba Sala died.
