In the early hours of Sunday, February 23, 2020, Nigerian singer, Teni made her debut at the O2 Arena in Brixton, London, UK. She performed at the 2,759 Indigo.

A few days before the event, Teni released her first single of 2020 – it is titled, ‘Marry.’ On it, Teni documented the female struggles with pressures to marry in Nigeria. But at her event in London, it was nothing of the sort. Instead, Teni‘s socio-political song became soundtrack to a beautiful wedding proposal.

The unnamed couple marked Teni‘s memorable night with the start of a union. The proposal started when the lady was called on stage, but didn’t realize why. A while later, Teni asked her to turn and she saw her husband-to-be down on one knee. She was both embarrassed and in awe. The guy said a few cute words the proposal was done just as show attendees were screaming their heads off.
