The former House of Representatives member, Ile Ife Federal Constituency, Hon Rotimi Makinde has restated his readiness to work with any aspirant who has the capacity to sustain and surpassed the unprecedented records of achievement of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and ready to implement policies as much as the sitting governor of Osun state.

Makinde who gave his words while speaking to the press as he attended the 140th Quarterly meeting of the joint Tax Board held in Osogbo held in Osogbo assured the newsmen of how he owed Osun State much respect.

Hon Rotimi Makinde said he will be glad to see an aspirant of high profile coming out to take over from Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, which he said, “caused rapid transformation of the state on many fronts even within the limited resources at his disposal.”
“He raised the standard of education and set foundation for high standard of living of the good people of Osun state. Capacity, Credibility and high sense of responsibility is very paramount and only an aspirant with good ideologies can move Osun State to a greater height. I shall consistently maintain my principles on loyalty based on worthiness, a realist who recognized competence when he sees one.”

“For now, I have begun my analysis, assessment and when I finally queue with an aspirant, such person and Osun people can start to dance, for the fear of God shall be topmost in my consideration.” – he concluded.
