Christopher Dugarry Mason Greenwood criticism – Former France international Christopher Dugarry has launched a fierce criticism of Mason Greenwood following Marseille’s performance against Nantes.

Dugarry, visibly angry during his reaction, accused Greenwood of failing to appreciate the support and opportunity given to him by Olympique Marseille after his controversial exit from England.

“I appeal to your pride. This kid was sidelined from the team, he made a serious mistake before Marseille signed him, and the club took a risk by bringing him on board,” Dugarry said.

Furthermore, the former French star stressed that Marseille stood by Greenwood when many people doubted whether he would ever return to professional football.

“He might never have played football again. Everyone did everything possible to put him in the best conditions,” he added.

However, Dugarry did not stop there. He accused Greenwood of disrespecting the club, teammates, and supporters with his attitude and display during the Nantes encounter.

“And he mocks everyone, he’s a wretch. You’re the leader of this team, everyone depends on you. When you’re not there, everyone misses you,” Dugarry stated angrily.

In addition, Dugarry questioned Greenwood’s commitment to Marseille despite the sacrifices the club allegedly made to revive his career.

“What do you offer in return after all the sacrifices? Is this it? You’re a miserable wretch, get out of here,” he fumed.

The criticism became even harsher as Dugarry condemned Greenwood’s display against Nantes, describing it as disgraceful and unacceptable for a player carrying such responsibility.

“What he did against Nantes is shameful. He doesn’t care about anything, he has no defence, and he should be condemned. It’s an absolute disgrace,” Dugarry concluded.
