OSUN 2018 UPDATE: Hon Gafar Akintayo AMERE set to contest Osun State gubernatorial election

Amere is now set to contest the Osun state gubernatorial election as he picks nomination form for the election.

This corrects the earlier publication that Honourable Amere had been cleared.

Payment for the form is a prelude to screening of candidates for eligibility.

Hon Amere has therefore paid the mandatory sum of N5.5m at the APC National Headquarters at Abuja and N2.2m in Osun APC Secretariat as payment for Nomination Form to contest on September 22, 2018.
The proponent of ‘Itesiwaju Osun lo je wa logun’, Hon AMERE has promised to continue and improve on the provision of Infrastructural facilities going on in Osun State, as soon as he resumes office as the Governor of the State.
Honourable Amere made the promise today in Abuja after making payment for the collection of APC form for the gubernatorial election in Osun State.

He commended Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola for all his laudable programs in the State of Osun adding that the tempo must be sustained to improve on the life of our people.
Honourable Amere said he would soon unveil his welfarist programs that would accelerate development in all nooks and cranny of the State.

Machinery has now been put in final motion to clinch the APC ticket and eventual winning of the general elections by Honourable Amere.

According to the Chairman of the APC in the state of Osun, Prince Adegboyega Adelani Famodun:

 Amere is a loyal Party man who has never flouted any Party directive.
 Amere is an achiever, who has performed in his Iwo Federal Constituency assignments creditably and beyond
reasonable doubt. The records are there for doubting Thomas to see.
 Amere is a dependable person who can be trusted with the APC Governorship Ticket.
 And finally, Amere is a product of family with good political antecedents.

Above all, Honourable Amere comes from Iwoland in Osun West, which most people believe, should be the next zone to produce the next Governor for the State of Osun.
