Nemesis finally caught up with the most notorious leader of killer herdsmen, Iskilu Wakili terrorising Igangan in Ibarapa area of Oke-Ogun in Oyo State.

Wakili was arrested by the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) loyal to the Aare Ona Kakanfo, Chief Gani Adams on Sunday morning of March 6, 2021.
Leading the OPC team from Oyo State was, Chief Adedeji Oluwole who narrated how Iskilu Wakili was arrested,
“This was how we arrested Wakili on Sunday morning of March 7, 2021 at Wakili village. As we have promised we have arrested Wakili, he is with me here along with his killer squad. We are carrying them to the DSS for interrogation.
“What surprised me when I saw this man called Wakili, he is an aged man that has been doing evils for so long in Ibarapa area and Oke-Ogun in general in Oyo State.”
“I told the whole world that we are going to arrest Wakili without shedding blood despite the confrontation of his squad who fired at us but with the help of God and Oodua, none of us sustained any injury.”
Wakili had been alleged to have masterminded the killings and abductions in the communities.
Kehinde Aderemi, Special Assistant on Media to Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams confirmed his arrest.
