Since life sentence was handed down to the IPOB leader Nnamdi KANU, Nigerians were divided, those who are for and against the sentence.

Those who were against the judgement said it was an injustice against Kanu and the Igbos while those were the victims said “finally, Justice has been served!”.

A victim narrated his ordeals from the brutality he suffered from IPOB like others whose houses and cars were burnt, example of this is Joe Igbokwe.

Prof Akunyili, Gulak and hundreds of others are not alive to tells their stories.

Some neighbors helped us too.

I killed my dream of going to university. I learnt skills for close to two years. Now I repair electronics, generators and fridge. It is small but we are surviving.

Today the man who Ordered the merciless killings is facing justice. Why won’t I be happy?”

You can Imagine the pains of the other families that were wiped out because of this. The officers, innocent ordinary people and villagers.

I once spoke against the killings, one man I was close to said “for us to achieve our freedom, there must be bl00d”
