THE Three-Year-Old boy, Master Abayomi Michael slapped repeatedly by his teacher has been awarded a scholarship to university level.

The gesture came from Gidi Real  Estate limited in Lagos.

In addition to the scholarship,  family of the little boy got a donation of two bedroom flat and One Million Naira to take care of their immediate needs.

The firm said it took into consideration the fact  that the mother is a widow and a cleaner in the same school where the assault took place before deciding to sponsor Michael’s education from primary to University level saying it hoped that the gesture would spur little Michael to greater heights.

The Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development and its Commissioner Mobolaji Ogunlende organized the ceremony where the agreement between the firm and the family wàs formalized on Thursday, January 16, 2025.

In his statement via his official x.com monitored by SOJ WORLDWIDE, Ogundele said his ministry committed to empowering citizens and ensuring that justice is served for every individual in the Lagos.

“As a ministry, we are committed to empowering citizens and ensuring that justice is served for every individual, which is a key aspect of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration. Today, we had the pleasure of hosting the team from Gidi Real Estate Investment at our ministry.

 

During their visit, they made a remarkable pledge to sponsor the education of three-year-old Abayomi Micheal, who was a victim of abuse, from his nursery education all the way to university level.

 

Additionally, they offered to provide accommodation for his mother, which is a truly commendable gesture.
