One thing to note was that people are not agitated or worried that a serving senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was abducted by unknown gunmen in Abuja on his way to Kogi State to answer police invitation.
People did not care if he was killed or not, it was business as usual.
The general belieF was that Senator Melaye stage-managed his kidnap by their responses to the purported kidnap.

True to their expectations, Senator Dino Melaye resurfaced from nowhere yesterday. The impression people had about him is, he is not a serious fellow like Governor Ayodele Fayose who claimed the police fired teargas on the crowd and he was the only one affected. Not only that, the teargas broke his neck and hand. That is type characters Nigerians voted for to lead them.

Nigerians are earnestly waiting for the next episode of interesting season films of the century from Bros Dino Melaye and Ayodele Fayose. Every republic has its own entertainers, at a time we had Godwin Daboh and Joseph Tarkar of “if Tarkar me I will Daboh you” fame. We also have Umaru Dikko who said “I have not seen people picking from dustbin” in response to the cries of poverty in Nigeria. The list is endless.
