UPDATE: Court postpones Timothy murder case against Adedoyin, six others

THE murder case of Timothy Oludare Adegoke against Dr. Rahman Adedoyin and six others which was supposed to resume its hearing on July 14 2022 has been adjourned till July 20 2022.

Prince Gbade Adegoke, the elder brother of the deceased, Timothy Adegoke made the information known to SOJ WORLDWIDE correspondent through a WhatsApp chat on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

The Hilton Hotel owner, Dr. Ramon Adedoyin, who is standing trial alongside six other members of Staff of Hilton Hotels and Honours for the alleged murder of a Masters Degree student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Timothy Adegoke has charged Justice Adepele Ojo to discountenance an application brought before it by prosecution counsel seeking to amend the amended charge sheet before the court pronounce its judgement.

The prosecution has not controverted that the case is in the Appeal court with regards to earlier amended charge, hence, urged the court to treat the application as a mere paper work that lack legal implication.

The court then adjourned the matter till July 14, 2022 for ruling on the application before it, as well as adoption of final written addresses
