Victor Osimhen Mercedes-Benz car debt – Nigerian football star Victor Osimhen has found himself at the centre of an unexpected legal dispute after German luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz reportedly filed a complaint against him in Italy over an alleged unpaid car leasing agreement worth €90,000 (about ₦142 million).

The complaint, reportedly lodged with the Italian Carabinieri in Milan by Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Italia, alleges that the Super Eagles striker failed to complete payments on a luxury vehicle leased in 2023. The company also claims the car was not returned after the lease expired.

According to Italian media reports, the vehicle involved is a Mercedes GLE hybrid, although some earlier reports identified it as a Mercedes G-Class. The outstanding balance is said to be approximately €90,000, nearly equivalent to the vehicle’s residual value.
