IN Nigeria, the more you look, the more you get confused. That was the scenario that played out in the Supplementary Governorship election in ADAMAWA on Saturday, April 15, 2023.

 

 

Only 10 Local Governments was declared at about 1.15a.m. on Sunday morning, the Returning Officer adjourned the Collation to 11.00am. Governor was leading in seven LGAs while Aisha Dahiru aka Binani won in three LGAs.

 

 

Before the arrival of the Returning Officer, the REC, Ari Hudu appeared to announce Binani as the Governor-elect of ADAMAWA State before the scheduled time despite protests by party agents other LGA results have not been collated.
