OSOGBO, Osun State – Governor Ademola Adeleke has visited victims of the recent violent attacks along the Oshogbo-Ede axis, expressing deep concern over the security situation and calling for urgent intervention from the Federal Government.

During the visit, the governor met with injured victims receiving treatment and assured affected families of continued government support throughout their recovery.

He described the attacks as tragic and unacceptable, stressing that the safety of citizens remains a top priority for his administration.

“I am deeply saddened by the loss of lives and injuries resulting from these attacks. No community should live in fear,” Governor Adeleke said.

He further emphasized the need for stronger coordination between state and federal security agencies to prevent future incidents.

“We need immediate and coordinated action to restore peace. I am calling on the Federal Government to support us in addressing this security challenge,” he added.

The governor also assured residents that security patrols and surveillance had been intensified across vulnerable areas.

“Our administration will not relent in protecting lives and property. We are working closely with security agencies to bring perpetrators to justice,” he stated.

Residents who spoke during the visit expressed appreciation for the governor’s presence and urged sustained government action to restore normalcy.

The recent attacks have heightened concerns across the Oshogbo-Ede corridor, prompting renewed calls for improved security measures in Osun State.

Stakeholders have urged all levels of government to collaborate more effectively in addressing insecurity and preventing further violence.

Governor Adeleke reaffirmed his commitment to continuous engagement with security agencies and community leaders to safeguard lives and maintain peace across the state.
