Aare Akinkunmi Akinyemi PDP Candidate — Aare Akinkunmi Akinyemi has emerged as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the Ibadan South East/North East Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election.
Akinyemi secured victory after defeating other aspirant during the party’s primaries held on Sunday, 17th May 2026, across all wards in the federal constituency.
Speaking shortly after his emergence, Akinyemi expressed deep appreciation to the party leadership, stakeholders, and members across the federal constituency for the confidence reposed in him.
“I sincerely thank the leadership of our great party at the federal constituency level, our respected stakeholders, and all party members for their unwavering support and trust,” he said.
Akinyemi also expressed optimism about the 2027 general election, stressing that victory remains achievable through unity, hard work, and God’s grace.
